Nous avons extrait l’ornement de la commode et laissé le logiciel d’impression 3D l’interpréter. Son langage, l’algorithme, est destiné à générer des liaisons pour échafauder la pièce imprimable. Nous avons conversé avec lui et soumis plusieurs canevas de points à relier; afin de l’encourager à formaliser un maximum de liaisons soudées et structurelles. L’impression 3D n’est plus le seul dépassement de la performance de la main, mais aussi celui de l’imaginaire.
Conversation with software,
e extracted the ornament of the commode and left the 3D printing software to interpret it. Hits language, the algorithm, is made to generate links to built the printable part. We interact with it and submit several control points to be connected, to forced it to formalize a maximum of fused and structural links. 3D printing is then no longer the only overtaking of the performance of the hand, but also of the imagination.
